A studs-out remodel paired with a significant rear addition, built during the height of the pandemic. The scope included a new master suite addition, raising the roof on one side of the home to create vaulted ceilings, a full new building envelope (roof, siding, windows), a new deck and covered porches, and fresh landscaping throughout.

The homeowners wanted to take a home with good bones and transform it into the home of their dreams — adding a proper master suite, opening up the interior with vaulted ceilings, refreshing the exterior, and creating real outdoor living space. They were committed to a major renovation rather than a series of smaller upgrades.

We stripped the home to the studs and built it back up. We added a new master suite at the rear, raised the roof on one side to create the vaulted ceilings the clients wanted, and replaced the roof, siding, and windows. We built a deck and covered porches for outdoor living and refreshed the entire site with new landscaping. Throughout, we navigated the unique challenges of running a major remodel during the pandemic, including supply chain volatility and unforeseen conditions inherent to a project of this scope.
