A near-complete rebuild on an existing site. We retained only the original floor platform and foundation, then expanded the footprint and built an entirely new contemporary home above it. The home was designed with a separated upstairs and downstairs to allow for future mother-in-law or guest-suite flexibility, and it was built with eventual resale in mind.

The home was designed with a separated upstairs and downstairs to allow for future mother-in-law or guest-suite flexibility, and it was built with eventual resale in mind.

The owners wanted to replace an aging house with a brand-new, market-leading home that would also have strong resale potential. They wanted a flexible floor plan that could accommodate multigenerational living, and they had high expectations for both design and execution.

We demolished the existing house down to its platform and foundation, expanded the footprint, and built a new home that included a flexibly-zoned upstairs and downstairs to support a future mother-in-law arrangement. The build emphasized strong entertaining spaces, including a master suite, a living room with wet bar, a dining room with fireplace, and a generous deck.

“We took an old house and tore it down. Bill and Cam built us the new one in its place. It came out better than we expected, and we had high expectations. The house went on the market and in the first day we had multiple offers, selling for 10% over asking.”

Gordon Wiehler

The home received multiple offers within days of being listed and sold for 10% over asking price. As the owner put it: "It came out better than we expected, and we had high expectations."
